Great tube expander, poor case latches

This is a wonderful expander. I have used it for about a year now. It flawlessly swages refrigeration copper. The fit is always good. In the 3/8 you need to expand about 90% then rotate just a little to finish if you want to prevent splitting the small tubing. Larger swages are no problem. The 90 degree angle make it possible to get to hard spots that a longer tool can not accommodate. My only disappointment has been the cheap latches on the box. They are both broken and I have to use a piece of wire to wrap the handles together to keep it from opening.

Regular HVAC use finds it wanting

Nice features. Seems like a solid meter. A year later not so much. The temp sensor is flaky. Have not used much but it is totally worthless giving erratic and way off readings. My 700 quit reading amps after two years. Just waiting for this 800 to flake out. My UEI meters are way more accurate and reliable. As an HVAC tech I use meters regularly for voltage reads, amp draws, temps and capacitor checks. I have had 3 Klein clamp meters that have all disappointed over the years because some feature or the other quits working. Not so with UEI meters.

Easy to use, accurate scale, with memory

Scale is very easy to use, has memory as advertised, and is very sensitive. I LOVE this scale. It puts my CPS to shame. Also, the reading is in decimal format, not ounces which is nice from my point of view. It is easily my favorite scale of 3 in the last 20 years.
