It's ok...
Let's just start by saying that this item does work, but in the end you get what you pay for. Now, for some criticisms. First, the gun feels cheap and light. It is a bit smaller than the original Nes zapper and much lighter. The trigger pull is also not very satisfying at all (compared to the original). Next is the accuracy. In Duck Hunt, if you shoot anywhere near the ducks at all, you'll get a hit. Hogan's alley was (no pun intended) hit or miss even with the gun right up against the screen. Freedom force worked OK but for some reason when the gun is plugged in, the intro doesn't play. Now, maybe my unit is a bit defective, but this is what I got. I wouldn't really recommend this unless you really just want to casually play duck hunt in the cheap.
