Tack sharp quality macro lens for flowers.
If you love taking photos of flowers (and I do) this is a terrific lens, tack sharp.I have even taken insect photos as well but you do have to be very close,100mm macro on cropped sensor (160mm full frame) is a lot easier distancing yourself from insects.One negative with flowers is your shadow can be a hindrance but you choose angle and time of day to overcome this issue (or use flash).I love this lens as an everyday lens as well and is about 64mm lens equivalent on full frame.

Good value with Limitations
The bad,no EVF, no Mic input, no hotshoe, just passable in built flash.The good, it does take great photos with a decent lens and intelligent auto does a pretty good job if you only have time for composition, also 180 degree tiltable LCD screen comes in handy .If you are OK with the limitations this is good value for money.

Lost the original Plate, bought this replacement and it works with my Manfrotto 785B tripod,very pleased.
