Favorite of all pocket cameras ever made.
10 of 10 found this helpful My favorite pocket camera. Have owned many pocket cameras. From Canon I use two S100 and a G12, and have had the S95 and G9. Prefer the S100 over the newer S110 and S120. Let me compare: The S100 is faster at all function than was the S95. It has half the shutter lag of the S110. S120 is fast but has an expensive touch screen, unnecessary and detrimental to preserving settings while handling camera. S120 screen also has twice the resolution, but for framing photos in the field this added resolution is a waste of technology and money. Value of S100 when purchased second hand and factory refurbished is excellent. My basic requirements for a pocket camera are that it can shoot in RAW, has control of aperture, shutter, and ISO without entering menu, that lens be superb and capable of close focus. Few manufacturers other than Canon have any cameras meeting these criteria, and the S100 is the smallest to do so.

1 of 1 found this helpful My 32 y.o. Honda generator was still like new, but I needed more power for a new house, so upgraded and gave the old one to a friend. A backup generator must be reliable, like a fire engine. For reliability, buy Honda.

Best Tubeless Road Tire
Have ridden 12 months and 10,000 miles on these, two bikes, two wheesets. Mounted on 17x622 rims actual width is 26mm. On 20.5x622 (Hed Ardennes Plus) actual width = 28.4mm. At 135 lbs. have found best inflation 45-50psi F and 65-70 R when on wider rims, 10 psi more on the narrower ones. Higher pressures do not confer any greater speed (these are very low rolling resistance tires). Softer pressures offer better grip on rough corners and more comfort, and better braking. Using Stan's sealant have had no flats in nearly 20,000 miles riding tubeless. Punctures yes, but flats no. Note that with lower inflation sealant performs much better. Less velocity of air leak = faster sealing. Also lower pressure = less tension in tire casing = fewer punctures (think of popping a balloon at various pressures). Previous year I rode Hutchinson Sector 28mm, and 2 years ago Bontrager R3 tubeless 25mm. compared to Hutchinsons and the Bontragers, Schwalbe One is air tight right from first instant of mounting. Not important you think? So did I, until a series of failure of Bontragers due to air dissecting between layers of tire, despite sealant, forming fragile blisters under tread. Compared to Hutchinson, Schwalbe One are much easier to mount and remove (some Hutchinsons had to be cut off with knife). Schwalbes are providing about 6,000 miles on front tire and 3,000 on rear.
