Would not buy for a close shave.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to replace a Remington shaver that I had It sounds like it is barely running but it does remove stubble. What it does not do well is give a close shave. Since I am retired that is not a big deal as I am not striving for the perfect shave to be presentable...ha ha. Also the battery life does not seem that long before it starts to seem weak. I bought this for less than a replacement foil and cutter block for my Remington so I guess you get what you pay for. The instructions say to use it for 3 weeks to get the closest shave. I am on week 2 and am still waiting for a close shave. Also the trimmer does not work that well.
