Excellent value light to medium duty snips

Excellent priced lightweight / light to medium duty tin snips suitable for the DIY / weekend warrior. Have cut some basic materials well so far. Nice comfortable grips, good use of nylock nuts on 4 all bolts. A point to note is that the leverage action is huge, I wear large or extra large work gloves and my larger hand size is required to get the full 2cm action of the jaws (I’ve added a picture so you can see what I mean). Not suitable for a professional contractor or someone with small hands.

Cheap and wonky but did the job, ok value given the price

As I read in other reviews, ‘as straight as a cork screw’ and it certainly is. Note although this product looks unbranded I actually received an Amtech brander product as listed in other listings as being like a cork screw. However this product was able (just about) to drill the deeper holes I needed (300mm) in my wooden workshop. This product is ok for rough non accurate or non precise holes but that it. If you need a neat and precise hole buy a specific long wood drill instead.
