Not loud enough for highway speeds.
1 of 1 found this helpful The BT-S3 is probably okay for slow speed rides around town but it is not loud enough to hear over the wind noise at highway speed. Some of the more expensive com systems can be heard while wearing earplugs which is a good idea to protect your hearing on long highway rides.

Good securable tail box.
The detachable tail box is a good value for the money. However, it required modifications to alow it to latch to the mounting plate. The dimensions of the mounting plate were slightly off and the two mounting slots on the box had to be elongated to alow the locking post to line up with the latch. The receiver slot on the latch post had to be trimmed for the latch pin to seat properly.
