No complaints here, but some things you should know
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm still a beginner, but this is an instrument I feel I can grow into. (I'll have to because it's much better than I deserve.) Great tone, a little more difficult to play than my old Selmer, especially with the right pinky positions. The wood on the top section did expand after a bit of playing causing the barrel to get stuck on the top section. Almost couldn't get it apart. If this happens, I was able to get it apart by putting it in the fridge for about 15 minutes. (Hey, it worked.) After that, it wouldn't go back together, so I did have to take it into the repair shop (Only $10) to get the top section shaved down. My teacher tells me its normal for the wood to expand a bit with playing, so this really wasn't that big a deal. Just got it back today and played it for the first time in a week, and yup, definitely better than my old Selmer.
