Perfect for 1/16 farm toy/models.
Perfect size for 1/16 scale farm toys/models! Much more realistic than the plastic 'bales' sold by Ertl.

If you want a correct tube for a postwar 455 derrick look elsewhere.
This tube is ca. 1/2 inch shorter than the original lionel postwar 455 bubble tubes. If you want an "exact" replacement for the original postwar tube this isn't the one to choose.As an aside, this tube is nearly identical in diameter & length to the bubble tubes used in the Nome 'biscuit base' Christmas bubble lamps..Other than the slightly shorter length the Noma tubes look just like the postwar Lionel 455 tubes from the same 1950's era! The 'modern' Lionel oil derrick tubes have a smaller diameter than the postwar tubes and thus don't fit snuggly in the tube holder. If you want the correct replacement for the postwar tube you need to find one from a postwar 455 derrick.
