Nuvi 760 a bargain at any price!
The Nuvi 760 is a full featured device and I am well pleased with it's overall functionality. I purchased this unit to use with my motorcycle (and a zip-up weather-resistant case also available on eBay). I was disappointed when the Bluetooth feature would not pair with my helmet's headset. The 4 digit PIN code is hardwired into the 760 making it compatible with most (if not all) cell phones, but it would not allow me to "punch in" the codes for my headset ... apparently by Garmin intent, leading you into their (far more expensive) Motorcycle specialty units. It paired nicely with my LG Quantum cell phone and the hands free feature works fine ... if you use the device in an automobile anyway. The only other "problems" are that the charging port and audio port are not conveniently located for my motorcycle application. The aforementioned zip-up case doesn't have enough room to accommodate these plugs sticking out, but, that's my problem and not really a flaw or anything. The Nuvi 760 is getting a little "long in the tooth", apparently first coming out in 2008. Even so, Garmin is still supporting the unit with firmware and map updates so it shouldn't be totally obsolete for some time to come. For a $60 'used' unit ... it's hard to beat!!
