A great deal

I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the Vernon. I mounted it on my 22 Br and first round at the 600 Yard range 199 12X’s . I was impressed. The scope was in a factory sealed box and in top notch shape…could not ask for a better deal.

Lee Trim Die

Unlike some trimmer that are caliber specific…the Lee Trim Die is cartridge specific…a few turns of the cutter handle, which is not cartridge or caliber specific but universal, trims to length and chamfers the case mouth inside and out. I find a couple of turns in the reverse direction also debuts..

A nice trigger, but expect some stock work on early 700’s like 722’s.

I installed the trigger on a 722 Remington. I took some stock work and we aren’t done yet. The safety was supposed to be removeable, I maybe wrong, but the bolt release wouldn’t have been held in place if the screw was removed. The bolt release could be more substantial. It worked fine until the action was place back in the stock and while everything else works fine we have some additional stack work to provide clearance for the bolt release it appears. The adjustments for lightening the pull are nice presumably 1 oz at a click and the clicks are clear. Safety works fine. When we are done modifying the stock I’m sure I’ll be happy.
