The ONLY 100% accurate K-27 stack available in HO scale. Period, Stop!
This Stack was used on the PFM K-27 Hi-Grade that came out in 1977. At the time it was not made available separately. When the Backshop/PIA parts line went out of production. I thought that it was gone forever. Then in the early 2000's it reappeared. I was about to order some from the owner but, then the man that had them suddenly passed away and I thought they were really gone for good. But Keith Wiseman bought his estate. But, even he didn't know he had them at first. It seems they were mixed in with the a bunch of C-16 stacks which almost look the same. When I ordered a large batch of C-16 stacks from Keith. several of them were actually the K-27 Stacks. I could not have been happier!!! I had been looking for these for nearly 30 years. Since then I have used them to upgrade every K-27 I own. Which is almost every full size K-27 that existed. These really help to make any K-27 model made to date look the very best and accurate that then can be.

Best DCC Steam Sound decoder that I have bought so far!
I've tried 3 different top of the line DCC steam sound decoders so far. For my money, the TCS DCC 1517 WOW STEAM Sound Decoder Ver. 4 with KA3 KEEP ALIVE, is the best sound decoder that I own. It is no more difficult to install than any DCC decoder. It also has the most rich and vibrant true-to-life sounds that I've heard from any of the steam sound decoders on the market so far. Better even, than the once much vanted PBL Foreground Sound System that disappeared many years ago. But it was NOT a DCC system! The TCS WOW-SOUND unit has soooooo many automated sound sequences for steam locomotive movement. Automated sound sequences that other decoders only provide button and CV controls for. The "Audio Assist" is BRILLIANT!!!. It is the the easiest decoder to program to your tastes BAR NONE!!! LIKE IT? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Wiseman Mode Service always seems to have what I'm looking for when it comes to PIA parts.
I was rebuilding a PFM model and these were the exact replacement for these tiny parts that I had lost on the floor somewhere.
