Front Pair Complete Strut Assembly for 90-99 Pontiac Bonneville

So far, so good.

Struts fit perfectly. All the holes were tapped correctly, and the ride height seems the same. The ride is slightly firmer than the oe struts, but not overly so. Much better than the unity struts I've used on other vehicles. (They were junk). We'll see how these hold up over time.

Fleet and expressive Schumann

Tempi are fleet, at least in the fast movements. The slower movements are taken at speeds that allow lines to be heard and shaped. An example of this is the slow movement of the 4th. The tempo at which it is played allows the obbligato-like violin line to be phrased and shaped, rather than glossed over. The music in the slow movements never seems to drag or be slow enough to lose a sense of overall line and phrase shape. Textures throughout are clear and transparent, allowing inner voices to come through; a definite plus in Schumann, where textures can become muddy and congested. One thinks Skrowaczewski the composer is taking care that everything Schumann wrote can be heard. This transparency allows the excellent phrasing of the Deutsche Radio Orchestra's players to bring these often hidden inner voices to life. I've heard things in these performances I've never heard before, either live or in the several Schumann symphony cycles I own. This has become my favorite Schumann symphony cycle. Highly recommended.

Great tires

This is the third car I've bought a set of Toyo Extensa tires for. They are extremely quiet and are wearing evenly and well on the other cars I am running them. Highly recommended.
