Gigabit Ethernet Low Profile PCI Express Network LAN Card 10/100/1000

Just good enough....

The PCI-e card was installed and it resolved my issue with an integrated 10/100Mbps adapter on my HP desktop PC (Windows 7 64-bit) that was dropping an upgraded cat5 connection. The computer is recognizing the PCI-e card at 100Mbps and I expected it to show 1000Mbps based on the hardware & driver. Could it be that the internet speed was auto-detected at is less than 100Mbps? An internet speed test is showing a download speed of about 40Mbps. The PCI-e network card did not have any instructions included with it which would have been a problem for a newbie. This item was bought based on price and shipping location as I was in a hurry to get my system operational again.

OEM is better than After Market

Tried fixing a leaking outdoor faucet (Mansfield 500) with an after market product bought at the local hardware store. Needed the OEM vacuum breaker repair kit to stop the leak. Mansfield brass products have been purchased by Prier so that is why the names are different.
