It is clearly a lower quality ear piece....

It is clearly a lower quality ear piece. The soft rubber - like "in ear" cling parts are separate from the ear buds. therefore they will be easy to lose for active people & also those who are sedentary. They have fallen out only twice that I remember, but I am always mindful when listening. There is a slip on, around the back neck lanyard, it is made of the same Rubber like material as the ear cling. When you turn your head the neck lanyard drags like a rubber tire on the road & pulls them out
