Great NAS
2 of 2 found this helpful This is really an excellent product. I'm new to advance NAS systems and it was easy and straightforward to install it and have it running. The beauty of this Synology model is that you can build your own home or office "ecosystem" starting with the simple and obvious file-sharing function and slowly scale it up with more functions and services all the way until achieving an integrated family and/or office system with it's own email, chat system, Office suite, etc. The variety of software available for the Synology family of NAS is so ample that it can solve the needs of almost any kind of users. It's a real joy to play around with this piece of hardware.
