Installation suggestions
1 of 1 found this helpful This device works perfectly in my Dell XPS 8700. My Dell originally had a 256 GB solid state drive. After a few years of use I started running out of space. I DO NOT recomment the Samsung migration utility. It did not restore all the partitions that came with my Dell. Instead I used the Acronis cloning tool. I purchased a msata to usb adaptor and put the original 256 GB ssd in that adaptor. I booted the Acronis recover CD that I previously created and ran the clone utility. I booted the system and everything was perfect and all the original partitions were there. I highly recommend Acronis, I have used it for years and it has always worked perfectly.
