Love lionel trains!
Lionel makes awesome trains, and this one is no exception. Mine ran great right out of the box.

Lionel Legacy UP 1983 SD70ACE diesel engine
This is a Lionel LEGACY Line diesel locomotive is O scale. Legacy engines are very detailed, so they can be a bit fragil and care must be taken in handling them. This particular model was probably manufactured around 2008 - 2010, so it does not include the Blue Tooth control feature. Nevertheless, it can be controlled convetionally, or with a Lagacy type controller. The detail and paint is excellent with crew figurines included. The Bell, horn, and crew talk are realistic. This engine is eight wheel drive (4 out of 6 on each truck) with dual motors for very strong tracyive effort. Too many features to list. This is a very large sized engine that is sure to impress.

MTH engines are Awesome!
This is a very detailed ES44AC engine! It is even more detailed than my Lionel Legacy engines. There is also a bit of a light show along the edges of the frame, which maked it just that much more fun to run. I recommend MTH engines over their Lionel counterparts any day of the week. I bought this engine "Used", and I ended up ordering a part or two from MTH. They not only had the parts in stock, but shipped them promptly.
