Excellant choice for introducing young children to a whole new world
This microscope is not a toy. The glass optics combined with the eye piece allows this instrument to indeed introduce the budding scientist to the micro world. Microscope is well constructed.

Poor quality and workmanship.
Battery terminal was folded into the electronic board during assembly and I had to unscrew and take apart the device in order to release the terminal. Although there are two screws that come with the device there is only one hole at the top of the device to screw the device To the wall. If you drill a hole and screw the device on the bottom the battery won’t fit in. I ended up having to glue the bottom of the device to the wall. The Device readily synced with the garage door opener however it takes several times of entering the code before the device will open Open the doors. Suggest you pay the extra $20 and purchase a genuine lift master control.
