A good value, that's easy to maintain, and replaces the need for chlorine.
this is the third Krystal Clear saltwater system I've owned. A solid, reliable pump motor and filter system. It does require regular maintenance - filter replacement, electrolytic cell cleaning, o-ring lube, etc - but is very easy to perform, and saves hundreds of dollars per season over chlorine systems.
Of the previous two, one was replaced under warranty by Intex due to electrolytic cell failure (they actually sent me a whole new unit instead of just the cell - I think they had deprecated that particular style of cartridge), and the other finally bit the dust after the transformer was fried by lightning.
