Nice light

This is a great light. Colors on my corals are popping! Fan is very quiet. There is some shimmer to my tank, but no disco ball effect. Supposedly Nicrew is working on a programmable dimmer for these lights, but if not a Kessil Spectral X controller will also work with it, according to nicrew. If you want a light that puts out lots of light, has great color, looks good (imo), at a reasonable price, this is a great choice. If you need to be able to control each color individually, or, or, or... honestly that's the only thing I think it's not capable of doing, then this may not be your light.

Its ok model 3

Maybe I'm using it on to deep of a tank, 24 inches, but I have two problems with this pump. 1) It's quite loud for a brand new pump. I have to keep it on a towel to keep it tolerable. 2) It runs hot, very hot. I've never had an air pump run so hot. Because of this extreme heat, I can only guess that this pump will not last long. Heat and rubber don't mix well. Danner says the pump can be used on aquariums 30"+ deep, and it seems to have fair output on my 24" tall aquarium. The 6 foot power cord is very nice, as most have 36" or less cords. I could only give 3 stars because of the noise and heat produced. If I find I have a defective unit, or somehow am using it wrong, I'll update this review. For now though, this is what I have to say.
