Very nice watch
Really pretty watch that is rated as water resistant to 300 meters. At a minimum it stood up to the wear and tear of a stormy day on the lake. Really nice option to the traditional, all stainless, high end dive watches many buy. Looks like it came from the 60's or early 70's. Internal dive bezel is controlled by its own crown. Fairly traditional design except for the bezel under the crystal. Dive bezel appears to be laquered black and is very smooth and crown locks into place well. The dial is a really attractive light ivory color that appears faintly iridescent under some light. Hour and minute hands, along with the lumed second hand tip, are fairly good. Legible waking up in the middle of the night to look at your watch. Gets many compliments. I see many different prices realized for it at auctions or buy it nows.. Prices range from $450.00 to far higher.
UPDATE: The crown broke within 3 weeks of arrival. Not an easy product to replace or repair.

Durable watch, but...
The watch is standard for Luminox with respect to it's size and durability/toughness. The gmt hand works but lags just a small amount. The lume is in my opinion unsatisfactory for a company that specializes in luminosity of dial. It has an inexpensive quartz movement. The watch is not in my opinion worth the nearly 600.00 Luminox and other sellers are asking. Perhaps it's worth buying at 200.00 to 250.00. it is worth noting that my Luminox Raider did not come with any instruction manual, nor was the Luminox box it came in covered in anything that had to be unwrapped. I have an idea of what that might mean. Caveat emptor.
