A timeless classic produced in 1994
A CD of fine Gregorian chant so well made. It has been great for longer trips listening to it in my car. This chant album relaxes the mind and brings an inner peace to you that most other types of music never do. I recommend this with other chant albums as part of a collection so you have some variety.
For those 25 and younger, these are monks in a monastery out in Spain chanting (specialized form of singing) old Catholic verses in Latin, the old language where most modern spoken languages are derived from. Chant is their way of praising and giving thanks to the Lord as Catholics (the first Christians) have done for over 2000 years. Learn history and be amazed.
This disc makes for a good foray into that history.
