I LOVE Metalocalypse !
For a certain type of person Metalocalypse is the ultimate form of entertainment. If you grew up on Scooby Doo and Hair Bands, if your adolescent involved a period of "darkness", if everyone you hung out with in your early 20s was in a band then you should give it try. More specifically if your sense of humor is absurd and irrevant OR if you enjoyed early Adult Swim cartoons / animated series like Home Movies or SeaLab 2020 then there is NO way you won't like Metalocalypse. Even if you think you don't like Metal. Which, by the way, I was never a fan of (except in an ironic sense) but I find I really enjoy the musical component of this show.
Warning: If you are one of those odd people (who I am assuming and hope are rare) that are freaked out by animated violence and gore - then this is not for you. If on the other hand you delight in such things then you are in for a treat with Metalocalypse.
Metalocalypse is one of my favorite things!

This show is refreshing. Slower placed - real looking characters. It is fun to watch.
