You get what you pay for...
Poor binding, with uneven-cut pages. I purchased an "international version" of this volume at an amazingly discounted price. The content is excellent, but the production quality is a bit substandard.

Awesome if you want a 4:3 monitor...
I prefer dual 4:3 monitors over one 16:9 (or even 2 16:9s). The reason being is that you have to go fairly large with a widescreen to recover vertical real estate. I can get 1024 vertical resolution on a 19" 4:3 monitor when nearly 25" would be required to get the same vertical resolution from a a 16:9 setup. Not to mention that the Viewsonic provides near pro quality color reproduction for a fraction of the cost.
