Effective lighting for car maintenance in a dark garage

Having used one of the older type multiple LED lamps for several years for my classic car, a failing battery necessitated a replacement. This is far superior - it is compact, incredibly bright and with a combination of strong magnets and hooks is capable of attaching to most cars for work underneath, under the bonnet or in wheel arches. I haven't need the UV light - yet, but it didn't seem worth not having. Good value if it lasts.

Folding commode

I purchased this to keep at my daughter's house as her down stairs loo is not accessible for my wife's wheelchair. So far it has not been necessary to use it but my only criticism on a "trial run" is that it is low. This makes it difficult but not impossible to use when the user has to be lifted on and off. Adjustable legs would be ideal but then the cost would be greater for something that might only be used very occasionally.

Pros - A good range of crimping jaws, as yet I have only used for insulated and non insulated spade terminals but excellent results, even on the smallest with fine wire - no distortion. (If not sure how to crimp, look on You tube) Comfortable to use even with small weak hands Ratchet disengages easily when crimped or using the release lever Jaws oppose correctly and riveted joints good Good storage bag Cons - none
