Takane Quartz Clock Movement With 3" hands, for Dials up to 1/2" Thick, U.S.A.

Movement runs slow (15 minutes off) Does not keep accurate time.

Clock has been running slow (15 minutes) since we assembled it 4 days ago. Used fresh quality batteries so that is not the issue. Not acceptable performance as we were planning to hang this clock in a high location in our kitchen and accessing it is not easy. We have not found any adjustment method for this movement.

Time Will Tell

Bought a replacement quartz movement. Has worked satisfactorily for the first 3 weeks. Only time will tell if this movement continues to operate for a reasonable period of time.
