Starter Relay Solenoid FITS KAWASAKI KZ650 KZ 650 CSR 1981 1982 1983

Works fine on my 1978 Kawasaki KZ650B

The wire colors don't match for a 1978 model, but that didn't stop this starter relay from connecting and working. The male bullet connector on the relay went to the female bullet connector on the bike and vice versa. I did need to use a small nylon zip tie to clamp the connectors tight on one side. No big deal; a bag of 100 zip ties costs about $3 and I use plenty on my bike anyway. I also had to keep my old vertical mounting boot rather than use the horizontal mounting boot that was supplied. The bike's wire from the battery to the relay was to short to allow a horizontal mount.
