Appreciating the coins of yesteryear.
This in one awesome coin...to think we carried this in our pocket of chunk change back in the day. This coin, which is flawless, denotes our history. Thrilled to be the new owner of it.

This one led to the purchase of others
I purchased this item, which I found to be stunning and attractive enough to but, only to learn there were two other die cast fire trucks in the "Legend" series and commissioned in part by The History Channel. The hunt was on. I was successful in finding the two matching pieces that goes with this item. This item is an open cab Mack pumper, the other two successfully obtained were a closed cab pumper and an open cab ladder truck, referred to as a TDA (tractor drawn aerial). The TDA's cab is painted white, this item here is traditional red and the other pumper's cab is painted black. What s display it makes. I am proud to show these items as a collection that is literally second to none.

Great quality at a reasonable price.
2 of 2 found this helpful I spent several days (and nights) studying the Baofeng walkie talkies in general. Of all that I've read in reviews and comments by professionals I decided to by a pair and try them out myself. I was quite impressed with the clarity of the receiving given their size and price. I though prior to purchasing them that "if it's too good to be true...." you know how the rest goes. I was no longer skeptical and went full steam ahead buy accessories like cases, a set of 'better' antennas and more. I purchased a book that will teach me HAM and Amateur radio information necessary for understanding these more. Living in a hurricane prone area and not knowing when the cell phones and internet could be shut down without notice, such as the morning of 9/11/01, I feel better knowing that I can be able to get in touch with fellow radio operators and with my wife of course, that's who the second radio is for. Channel mode works unbelievably great and once licensed I find out how the frequency mode works using the repeater system. These radios are true quality and seem very dependable, which meets my needs. Even if they were a bit more expensive they'd still be worth the buy. I remember that morning of 9/11 and an eerie feeling it was when I was unable to call anyone even on a land line phone. Now I can rest and be assured knowing I have prepared myself (a lot to study yes, and to get ready for a HAM operator's license) I just hope they won't be needed for an emergency. Being prepared is a very good feeling though. I may even buy a few more just to have ready and waiting for the "if" and "when" the need would be mandatory, but until then...I'll enjoy my new found hobby and meeting new friends who also have a hobby in the HAM radio field.
