Cheap upgrade for old laptops
2 of 2 found this helpful Performance is what you can expect from a 3rd gen 4 core i7 CPU, but it can fit laptops with limited cooling capacity. It's definitely worth upgrading from a 2 core solution. I use it in a Thinkpad E330 and heating is about the same as the previous i3 CPU, so not an issue.
