Custom display frame for CGC Comic books.Slim edge Made in USA! Buy 9 get 1 FREE

Inexpensive alternative
I bought this with no preconceptions. The price was much less than everyone else's CGC frame. It is made from MDF which is a lot like a mixture of woodchips and glue bonded together. While the CNC machine work is decent, I feel someone was in a hurry to produce these. The standard CGC slab will not fit properly because the depth of the route that the slab is suppose to rest in is too deep. A double size slab will almost fit the frame, but the route is a little too shallow for that. The frame comes with two small metal tabs that are screwed into the back. If you bend these tabs down to touch the CGC slab, it makes the fit a little better. But you shouldn't have to bend the metal tabs down just because the dimensions are wrong - all it would take is for an accurate measurement (and maybe test fitting) in the first place. There is also a keyhole slot cut into the top of the frame in the back so it can be wall-mounted. I thought that the addition of this little detail was a good thing. Because a CGC slab will not fit properly, I don't have a graded comic mounted or displayed in it. I am debating whether to modify this frame to work, or to make something myself.

USB Boost DC 5-24V to Dual Power ±12V ±5V 3.3V Linear Regulators Module DIY Kits

Intermediate skill level
Kit has 11 surface mount components that really requires a hot air station to assemble properly. All polarity indicators are prominent on board so I'm not sure why some people have had trouble with diode placement. Maybe earlier versions of the kit omitted this. Overall, it is an easy module to put together if you have some previous experience assembling small electronic project kits. The most problematic to solder would be the large inductors if you don't have a hot air station and solder paste. Very versatile power regulator but seems to emit a lot of RF noise (most likely from the inductors) so using it near anything sensitive to RF would be cautioned against. Also of note: the positive 12 volt connection seems to drift up to 15 volts when first plugged in.
Oregon OEM 558286 replacement [5]wooden file handle, 25pk, l

Good handle for the price.
I've seen in places where these are supposed to be hardwood handles. Sometimes they do seem like it, but some of them seem to be made of softer wood. This might be a problem with hard use as soft wood tends to split. But for the price, they are the best handle I've found. I use these for a specialty tool and they hold up well.
