Good for my needs
Fit my garmin holder a bit less tightly than I'd like which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I wouldn't trust the adhesive personally. I actually screwed this mount directly into my dashboard between my vents. I have a garmin-compatible phone holder which I use for a pixel xl. It certainly holds it, but a bit loosely to where the phone doesn't stay firmly in position. I solved this by gluing a block of foam to the back of my phone mount so the bottom rests against the dash. It's mounted between my vents so the phone stays cooled rather than baking in the windshield where it kills the battery. So in the end, this did actually solve what I needed it to with a bit of assistance and ingenuity. I'm happy with my final result.
