Relatively inexpensive and effective if you fiddle with it a bit
We had major raccoon problems. Set traps the first night and all three (we bought three units) tripped without having animals enter. We bent the trip release arm up slightly to adjust pressure required for tripping and caught two raccoons in two nights. We couldn't release them till the afternoon after work and during that time the release pin for the rear door was bent making release that way impossible. A push bar (tree branch) on the front spring and the long trip bar that had also been separated by the raccoons was enough to release it from the entrance side. A bit sketchy with a cranky raccoon, but doable.

Skip the big box guys who probably don't have it anyway
Works just like OEM but WAY easier to find and at a great price
