yes it does work. pH is accurate, doesn't need frequent calibration and the temperature reading and compensation are good. I've been using it on thin liquids and thicker slurries and pastes. it is not designed for highly viscous media but will still work if you stir it in the liquid and hit the measure button repeatedly until it stabilizes (thick stuff diffuses slowly). it has held up to all the sticky acidic basic corrosive and high salt goo that has hit it. good little meter.
