Miller Cage J Clips 1lb Bag and/or Heavy Duty Pliers Assemble Repair Pet Cages

Simple to use once you learn the tools short comings and the clips. like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."

The tools and clips leave a little more refinement. The clips does not completely fit the tools at first, needs a break-in period. At first I had to make some minor adjustments to the clips to fit into the the tool. then I had to reshape the tool at the clip end to be able to fit into the 1/2 x 1/2 hardware cloth (Metal Mesh) . Other than that it works well. grant it I do not have to make very many cages/traps. I know this in advance that this specific tools had some minor issues but I was able to grind the clipping end of the tool and with work it, it loosen up a little and the clips will fit into with a little bit of guidance. It real seems that the clips need a little better quality inspection. it seems that they were stamped two layers of material at a time, I say that is when i got them from the bag they were all in two layers thick of metal. All said and done now the tool and clips are working as they should. But if a person is planning on doing a lot of cage build up and or repairs they should look at one of the tools that are a little higher in price. I only have made five, 1' x 1' x 3' shrimp traps and repaired 2 others
