The machining may look nice....Just don't expect them to be well machined
5 of 5 found this helpful These collet chucks not only have excessive run out, the ground surface that refrences against the machines spindle isn't perpendicular with the axis of the tool holder. I tested these collet chucks on a surface plate and used Starrett V blocks and a Mitutoyo dial test indicator. Out of the 10 checked only 2 were marginally usable. All were tripple checked to verify consistent readings.
