A good guide, among others.
In general, I like it. I would like it better if the Russian was also written phonically so I could pronounce it better. It won't teach you by itself, but along with other aids, it is really useful. If I lost my copy, I would buy a replacement copy.

We love it!
We are very happy with this machine, and the yogurt it makes. It is simple and the jars the product stores in make the whole process simple. For the money, you can't beat this. The only qualifier I would add is that it does make a batch, so if you only want yogurt once a week, then it isn't right for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend this machine.

This book is outstanding!
I love this book. For those who want to learn some basic Russian quickly, this book is wonderful. It combines teaching methods to be very effective, and it focuses on basic phrases and ideas to keep the lessons simple. For the money, I think this book is the best value for the casual student. If a person really wants to learn the language completely, then perhaps spending more for a product like Rosetta Stone is a better idea, but for someone who just wants the basics, this book is nearly perfect.
