Original OEM New Replacement Battery Nintendo Wii U Gamepad Controller WUP-012

Works, but doesn’t last as long as the original

This battery, charged using a new GamePad power cord directly from Nintendo, only lasts 50-60 minutes before the GamePad needs to be recharged. Since it’s described as OEM I expected something closer to the 4-5 hours of the original battery. That said, it works, is the correct size, and comes with the world’s cutest screwdriver for the tiny screws on the back of the GamePad. Considering Nintendo no longer sells the batteries, and WiiU accessories will probably get harder to come by over the years, it’s worth it if yours is no longer holding a charge at all.
