Definitely finds fine gold!
Once you get used to reading the sounds for good targets, it definitely does everything it claims. Found super fine flour gold (In very sparse placer country.)!

Great for prospecting
Works great for what I use it for. I use it to control my pumps I use for gold prospecting. They are selling speed controllers for prospecting for $65. You can get one of these for $12. It’s works great, you just have to build a mounting plate for it.
