I was hesitant to buy this DVD because of the price, but I am extremely pleased with it and I believe it to be well worth the cost. There are no annoying introductions or unnecessary modern interviews, so the disc serves to give the viewer an unguided glimpse of classic French television and Brigitte Bardot's bodacious body. The half-hour documentary that is featured at the end of the disc was made in 1968, so it doesn't serve to take you out of the elevated mindset one achieves when watching classic European television (oui oui). One very positive thing I must mention about this DVD is that the menu is a still frame with no looping audio. This is a very good feature which makes the disc perfect for background ambient television as you go to sleep, since you won't wake up having subconsciously heard the same 30-seconds of music repeated 700 times. I know you could just use a sleep-timer, but the point is you shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that.

Faithful and Thorough.
If you have already seen this epic masterpiece of a film and wish to pursue its musical depth to a greater extent, this CD is definitely worth the purchase. The rock songs pack a punch of great magnitude, as any Thor fan already knows, and the dramatic incidental music has been restored to pristine audio quality. The boys down at La-La Land Records have also done a nice job of arranging the tracks to create an enjoyable and diverse album experience, rather than an awkwardly segregated collection of tracks which could have easily resulted from such a varied assortment of songs and audio clips. My one complaint is that the famous quotes from the film have apparently been rerecorded by Mr. Thor instead of using the original audio from the film. However, this isn't enough to deter me from giving this album 5 out of 5. WE LIVE TO ROCK!!!!1!
