Garmin Edge 800
I use my 800 for tracking performance and do not utilize the extra functions of HR, etc. The display is large enough to see while cycling and the several screens can easily be stepped through on the road. Though I have not yet tried, I believe it would be easy to follow an uploaded route. Using it for navigation like you would Google Maps on a smartphone would be frustrating though.
Overall I am pleased with my purchase and feel it was a good value. The wifi interface on the 810 would be a significant upgrade, but not worth the extra cost for me.

Perfect Replacement
I believe it to be an OEM unit and it works perfectly. What more an we ask?

Convenience at a fair price
I made the mistake of ordering the version for electric heaters first..darn. The replacement, suitable for gas, was easy to install and has worked well for the last month. Once convenient feature is the display of the current set temperature and the ability to either raise or lower it from your internet connected device whether at home or away. You can also set it to vacation mode which I have yet to do.
