Japan?
Putting "Japan" in the title is misleading, as it looks like a Japanese model but is made in China. If that kind of thing is important to you, move on. Meanwhile, it actually functions fine although craftsmanship is a little less thorough than I was hoping for.

A nice take on the classic walking stick.
A nice, solid walking stick that screws together from 3 pieces. The take-down design is nicely fitted and suffers no wobbliness or rough edges at the connections. The head is treated with a little bit of engraving that will wear well with use. Woodwork, including the spiral grooves, is very nice.

Smooth running and handy
I have several magazines for my Ruger Scout, and the plastic ones are definite favorites. The steel 10 round magazine that came with the rifle needed significant work to smooth it out. All of the plastic ones have operated flawlessly from the start. Perhaps there will be a cost in durability, but I haven't used these long enough to comment on that. They seem quite sturdy.
The 3 round magazine is nice for smoothing out the profile for hunting situations, basically converting the scout to the capacity and shape of a fixed-magazine rifle.
