Extra lights for dark nights
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought a couple of these for my daughter's bike for when she's riding home from her grandparents. As an additional source of illumination to standard bike lights, these are excellent. They really help her get noticed by drivers on the early winter nights.
The lights simply push onto the spokes, and have a flashing or always on mode. When the wheels are turning the bike looks great, would definitely recommend.

Good lights for the price
The lights themselves are really good value although I did attach thin strips of insulation tape around the joint where the lenses meet the body. The lenses tended to work loose otherwise.
The supplied brackets of the front lights felt a little flimsy, but again plenty of black insulation tape wrapped around the bracket made it much more secure and wasn't really noticeable. The supplied screws have a plastic head to help tighten them, but they are quite small and difficult to grip.
The back light was straight forward to fit, using a posi-drive screwdriver.
The front lights have three settings, bright, half-bright and flashing. Press the button once for first setting, press again to switch off, then press for second setting and again to switch off, and finally switch on once again for flashing. When you switch off the routine goes back to the first step. To zoom in and out the torch beam simply pull or push the lens housing away or towards you.
The back light has an always on mode and several types of flash that you cycle through by pressing the button.
In action the lights work well, and despite having to apply tape to make the front brackets feel a bit more secure I'm definitely glad I bought them. Overall excellent value for money.
