Helikon 4 Piece KFS Cutlery Set Camping Hiking Survival Stainless Steel Fork
    Mar 30, 2020
Looks great, but not made to NATO spec. Does not lock up properly, no reiforcing ribs.
I have a set made in Germany that is fair to say, the Real Thing. That set locks together by having the spoon notches click into the can opener-carrier. This set looks the same- in fact the finish is much better with this example. But a couple of things are missing here. Reinforcing ribs are missing, though the steel is good enough quality to withstand hard use. The main thing missing is proper fit between the can opener/carrier and the spoon notches. The Can opener is folded with too much space between the front and the back side in order to lock the spoon notches in place. Instead, the whole set of knife, fork and spoon can fall out just by tipping the assembly downward. This is NOT the way it's designed to work. I acquired my German-made set in about 1993 at an Idaho surplus store. If I'd have known they would be making poor imitations like this in 2020, I'd have bought a warehouse full of them. As it is, I was able to bend the can opener carrier using a large vise to close the gap enough to hold the spoon notches in place. It isn't great, but it does at least keep things together enough for civilian use.
Jeff Beck : Live at BB King Blues Club CD
    Jan 03, 2022
I have no idea what this is. The crowd loved it, apparently. I didn't.
This is just the weirdest Jeff Beck recording, and I've been a Beck fan (for what seems like forever), after Yardbirds, The Jeff Beck Group -the one with the orange on the cover (1973) to Blow By Blow, (1975) through Wired, (1975), I expected after all this time and reading the rave reviews of this live BB King set... this was going to be something really well done. Here's my candid and radio-friendly reaction: what the heck is this? The bass of Tal Wilkenfeld is invisible, mixed so low I'm not sure I can hear it at all most of the time. Drums? It's a drum solo every song, played as though the drummer had no idea what the songs were supposed to sound like. Mixed as loud as the guitar. Not since The Shaggs have I heard anything this disjointed. Couldn't recognize most of the songs themselves, even though I have some of them from studio recording sessions. Diddling, feedback, tremolo bar dives, beats me. Unrecognizable racket.

Needed something to work on plastic without wrecking it, this isn't it.
Not a winner for me. I needed a threadlocker that would work on plastic and this isn't it.
