Invaluable for Rem 51 owners
Just what i needed for servicing my old Rem 51 I picked up recently. How to disassemble and
reassemble this interesting old pistol is key.,

Reliable scope mount for the SKS
1 of 1 found this helpful This scope mounting rail actually works as a rigid and reliable scope base for the SKS.
The older scope mounts invariably used a modified rear receiver cover as the base.
The Older mounts were heavy (cast iron mostly), and were hard to fit, and wobbly.
Further the scope would shift zero when firing.
The MagWedge holds its zero, and gives plenty of mounting room for optics.
After opening the mount by pulling its rear pin (for reloading by use of stripper clip)
The mount and scope returned to their previous zero.
Standard service procedures are not inhibited by the mount, unlike the older designs
using the rear cover.
Only down side is that the rear sight is removed for installation.
Despite that, I installed a red dot sight, and found that accuracy was vastly
improved over the old iron sights when shooting.
The MagWedge optics mount is a vast improvement over any of the old SKS
rear cover mounting systems.
I plan to buy several more rails.

Early classical bookbinding text.
Great book for those looking for historical bookbinding techniques. Restorers looking to research early book
construction will like this.
