Good boxers are either heavy punchers (Baer, Mariano, Liston etc) or scientific or artful boxers. Moving & using head vs brute force.
Sports Illustrated once rated this the #1 sports book of all time. From what I’ve read in the book it is quite. Boxing 70-80 yrs ago.

Red Tape, Values & Aging
No special effects (noise). A drama set in Canada about an accomplished farmer & carpenter dealing with excessive red tape in attempts to get a bldg permit (too much govt). His wife going thru early stages of dementia. Very good.

Good & Bad
I’m not particular about books and I don’t normally purchase mass market paperbacks. However, one problem with this particular book. There are about 8-10 burned pages. All the burns are about the width of a cigarette and an inch long. Hopefully, it won’t ruin the story. I think I’ll be able figure the writing out. Big fan of James Lee Burke.
