Quality storage at a low price!
I’m pretty OCD about my CGC slabs and other collectibles in our house. I wanted a storage box that was simple, lightweight and wasn’t going to trap moisture if it found its way into the box.
This is, hands down, the best option if you’re looking for a sturdy, affordable way to store your comics/slabs away. Not to mention how perfectly proportionate it is. If I were to move, I wouldn’t have to worry about a full box taking damage because of how well the cardboard holds up to dings and weight loading.
I’ve never gone out of my way to purchase anything made of cardboard. I’ll be the first to admit I was skeptical about the price being so low. Upon arrival, constructing it took less than 5 minutes (Photo instructions printed on the box). Immediately, I noticed how firm each ‘wall’ was while putting it together. Once I finished, I was surprised by the overall size. Even though the item description clearly tells you how big it will be and how many slabs you’ll be able to fit inside, it was pretty cool looking at the finished product. Stows away perfectly in our bedroom closet, yet still remains spacious inside, even with my slabs being enclosed in individual mylar bags.
Overall, I’m incredibly happy with this purchases. I’ve dealt with a lot of low quality crap over the years when it comes to encasing my collectibles. Leave it to something made of everyday cardboard to exceed my expectations tremendously. If I ever need another, bank on me buying directly from The Coin Digger!
