3d printer on the cheap
Nice Printer but has its disadvantages. Its a Prusa clone and uses clone motherboard. Beware if you try to mod it. Its a clone the geeetech 2560 motherboard and will not take firmware. I replaced mine to get auto leveling. The pin outs are backwards on the display also. I had to snip off the tab and reverse the cable on one end for new motherboard to see it.
Other than that. Its a great custom 3d printer. Every piece can be improved or replaced. Its the framework for all Prusa 3d style printers. Im already planning on upgrading the frame to all aluminium for stability and strength. You will notice that man parts are 3d printed. This also means that you can print your own parts and pieces for your own custom variation. I believe this was a great start for me.
