MLB 08
0 of 1 found this helpful What a game. Talk about difficult! I've never seen such a difficult game to play. I have looked at it 3 times now for a total of about 6 or 8 hours and I still don't know how to time the bat or pitch. I've gone through a bunch of the features that can be adjusted or changed and a lot of them don't make any sense to me. I wish it had a tutorial like the game Skate. I bought the Skate game and was doing tricks and skating in 15 minutes.
I really like the graphics. That's about all I can say that I like so far. Why can't swinging the bat be as easy as swinging a golf club in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09. At least the instructions could be more clear as to how to start a game or get some easy practice. I've tried the training module in this game and couldn't even get it to work. I probably spent an hour trying. There should be throwing, catching, pitching, batting and base stealing practice that's easy and intuitive. How can you get good at any of those activities if you can't practice.
I think the game should be real easy to use in rooky mode and harder as you choose to advance to other skill levels. I hope to find some tips on how to play and if I don't I'll probably put this game up for sale on eBay. I refuse to purchase a book to learn how to play. It's just a game!

Can't live without it.
I could never fully load a hi cap magazine by hand; but with the aid of the speedloader I can. At first, I didn't know how to use this magazine loader but after watching a video it was easy. Just press down, push a round back as far as you can, slide the speedloader "up" while pushing back on the round and then push it back down so that it's ready for the next round. The last round is still hard to push in but with a little practice it become doable.

Highest quality tent you can buy
1 of 1 found this helpful You can tell by just looking at this tent that it is made from quality materials and the workmanship is top notch. I have a friend with this tent and my sister recently purchased one too. I helped her set up the Kodiak 6011VX for the first time so when it came time for me to set mine up it was easy as apple pie. The hardest part about setting up this tent is pounding in the stakes. You must stake the tent first before you can stand it up. On the grass at home it was easy since the ground is soft and void of rocks. Out in the real world I know that this isn't always going to be this easy. So pounding in the stakes is the hardest part. After that, it only takes seconds to stand upright.
I love the accessories that they included with this tent like the tarp, organizer and hanging fabric shelf. Originally I wanted the Kodiak with fewer windows but it doesn't include the tarp which would add $40 to the price so this model was actually less expensive than the model with less windows. I think I made a wise choice since you never know which direction the wind will be blowing and I can open any window on any side I want for a little bit of a breeze to cool off the inside of the tent on those hot afternoons.
The only complaint I have is that this tent is very heavy and I'm not getting any younger. But since this will be used from truck to camp and I won't be carrying it any further than that, it's going to work out fine.
If you want comfort and quality, buy a tent from Kodiak. I'm over 6' tall and I can easily stand completely erect in this tent. No more bending over to put my pants on.
