Solid Upgrade for vintage RC10T

These are a solid upgrade for the standard smaller, old gold or teflon coated RC shocks that came on a lot of Associated's older cars & trucks. These are super easy to rebuild and the threaded spring preload is so much nicer than the old clamps/spacer system. These are also a bit larger, so more oil volume should equate better performance, though you'd have to be pretty sensitive to see any real difference. Also note the larger shock body does also require the purchase of larger 12mm springs. Either way, if you're old shocks are blown out and you're tired of dealing with the spring clips or plastic snap plates each time you need to do a rebuild, these are worth it just for that reason.

Nice Upgrade for Vintage RC Car

I bought this 23 turn motor esc combo for a vintage first gen RC10T. I didn't want to get too involved setting up the car for brushless and since it's just for nostalgia runs didn't want to invest a ton of money into it either. This setup is a nice match for the truck- a bit more power than the usual stock 27T motors, and since it's not for racing, having the option of reverse on the ESC is nice. All in all a good buy.
